MTK META Utility Version 55 :

– I’ve seen many people struggle to get into BootROM mode on VIVO devices with new security (mt6765 and mt6771). So I created a simple way to enter/exit BootROM mode.

– Although this feature is implemented in some tools, it’s not done correctly. They just added the DA file.

My method doesn’t require you to search for a Brom port preloader in an old firmware or exit Brom preloader in a new firmware package. All operations are automatically performed to make it as easy as possible.

To exit Brom, you will need to choose the Main preloader file of large size (4MB).

– Brom mode now has the Write PGPT option. This is to fix corruption in partition tables (Samsung particularly dead UFS devices like A326U and A136U).

– Fixed (===== wait to DA high speed Port =====) device back into BRom port upon switch to DA port.

– We were unable to find an online solution for MT6768P and MT6833P. It requires a BBK Asia server for remote authentication. Due to the high request cost, we are still looking for an offline solution.

– The preloader file from the original will be saved in the program directory (VIVO_EMI), along with the device RNID/ME_ID (unique MTK identification), so that you can use it with flashing software (EMI/Preloader), to activate DRAM and reboot the device for R/W operations.

Next task: Offline solution for VIVO M6768 – M6833P and Xiaomi Redmi 9A/9C Poco MT31 Boot device/dram fail solution.

Developers can clarify the force/exit BootROM process by applying this idea to the flashing tools. This will make it simpler for users:

“We boot the MTK Auth Bypass tool V55 (MTK META MODE UTILITY) Latest Version Free Download device into DA mode using the singed VIVO Download Agent. First, we delete the preloader that will be used later for DRAM setup and save it to the local file with a unique device ID such as (MEID RNID – SoC HID). Next, we format the primary boot area aka (BOOT1A) to allow for USB exception due to missing MAGIC header.“

Finally, we need to send the BOOT region to restore the device to its original status.

How to Use It?

Download & Zip the MTK Auth Bypass tool or MTK Meta Mode Utility onto your computer.Run MTKMETAUtility.exe Install LibUSB Windows32 driver To your computer (Skip it if this is already completed). Now, Power Off your phone Press Volume up and Power. Insert a USB Cable. Click Disable Secure Boot. If Disable Secure Boot does not work, you can use the Force BROM function. That’s it. This will remove Auth Security from the phone. You can now unlock your phone using any of the following tools: SP Flash Tool or Miracle Box, UMT, CM2 or UMT.
